Rule 0: While this is technically a multimuse blog, it is first and foremost Sterling’s blog. Any Asks/Starters are done with him in mind, in a fitting AU to whoever it is sent to. To add some variety, there are other muses to play sporadically. Those muses are:
Terra Cotta (OC) - Sterling’s teammate
Kyakas (DnD) - Tiefling Rogue
Reno (FFVII)
Ra’nak (FFXIV OC)
Qrow (RWBY)
David (Cyberpunk Edgerunners)
Yu Narukami (Persona 4/Golden)
Ren Amamiya (Persona 5/Royal)
This list may be updated at anytime to add or remove extra muses.
I’m fighting to get my muse back up, so send prompts or requests my way. I got a few new follows/followers/mutuals, so I’ll see what I can do with that.
But I also got my switch fixed and got Tears of the Kingdom. So if I’m slow, that’s why as well.
She looked up at him as he wrapped an arm around her. She leans her head on his shoulder. “Okay. Shall I-I look for items we can burn w-while you look for a p-place where we can set it up?” She asked, nodding her head. She knew time was of the essence for now.
Sterling was silent for a long few seconds with her question, although she was absolutely right. A small nod of his head before his arm retracted from her, immediately feeling the chill of the air now that it was off of her. “Yeah. Paper for starters, heavy wood for making sure it lasts.” He hesitated before he got up, immediately looking for a good place to start the fire. A clear area that was flat that he could put a barrier up around so it didn’t escape.
Was the face here new? No, although the man was so flighty with his attendance it would have been easy enough to say yes when he walked into the Bakery. Looking around, wearing what he considered to be his 'fine clothes' which were nothing more than a button-down shirt and clean pressed jeans, his eyes narrowed a bit. "Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to get here?"
Hearing the little bell above the door ring, Dot turned from the table she had been cleaning up, holding a small stack of plates.
“Oh, good afternoon.” She called, giving a wave with her free hand “I’ll be with you in just a moment.” And with that she headed away from the cafe into the back; the gentle ‘clink’ of plates sounding.
Returning from the back she stepped behind the counter, giving him a… look.
“Suggestions? It depends on what you like. We have chocolate treats, fruit tarts, cream cakes, or if you’re feeling savoury there are quiches and little pies. Personally I would choose the mixed berry tart” Dot picked a cake server up to point to the raspberry and blueberry decorated tart. “I would have suggested the lemon tart but we’re all sold out unfortunately.”
The man seemed a little stunned by the… energetic nature of the woman, as she went into a list of suggestions for the bakery at his request. It wan an enthusiasm of someone that enjoyed their craft and was happy to share it, something that wasn’t easy to find, but a treat in itself to savor.
“That’s quite a few things, and I’m sure that if I miss out on anything particularly good it would be a blemish on my day. So, how about this. Make me a mixed plate of all the best things here. Don’t worry, I can pay for it.” He paused for a moment before leaning in, a smile on his lips. “And if you aren’t so busy, we can you to the order as well? To pick your mind about everything, of course.”
Gwen sat in the dark room with him. She was used to it being co,d in Atlas when she was there, but this was on a whole new level. She wondered how long her aura would last before she would start feeling the effects. She slid closer to Sterling, knowing it was best to conserve body heat by sharing it with another person when push came to shove.
It was worrying, to say the least. They were going to have to figure out alternative means for warmth as the cold continued to chill at their bones. Feeling Gwen sliding closer to him, he shifted, his body turning a little more towards her, an arm wrapping around her hips and pulling her close. “We’re going to need to start a fire.” He said in a low voice, eyes going around the room to see what was flammable… and where would be safe to start one.
🥶 ( COLD ) - its freezing and the heat is out but there’s always other ways for sender and receiver to keep warm. Gwen and Sterling
Gwen had been sent up Mantle-side, and Sterling had offered his own expertise of the area since this was home turf for him. At least, he did his best as the place they took residence in during the storm lost its power. The room was rather dark, with the heat getting sapped away by the second, little chance of getting out before the storm ended with the wind blowing outside.
“…Yep. Just like home.” Sterling’s voice was sarcastic, but he was worried for Gwen’s health. Even the resistance of aura wasn’t going to fully protect once the warmth was gone in here. Hell, he was use to Atlas cold and this would be a bit much for him to deal with.
Malantha was ogling at Sterling from afar. She fell in love with him but lacked any sort of self-confidence to introduce herself. quite frankly, she didn't like her own form, as she thought of it as undesirable. So, she used her mind reading to figure out what he desired in a person. Then, she'll shapeshift into that
No matter what she did, she ended up being herself in the transformation. She was confused. People usually have a specific taste. why couldn’t she transform into what he liked?
Then, the thought of him being liquid minded or open minded came to mind. However, such a thought escaped the self-damaging image she had of herself. Malantha then suddenly had a feeling he noticed her reading his mind, and tries to sneak away…
Not before tripping over a tree branch and squeaking from it.
There was just too much in the way of coincidents, what with the probing of his mind ending as there was the outcry from the woman, tripping over herself and landing on the ground. A small frown was on his lips as he approached her, although he didn’t say anything. Merely staring down at her with his hands on his hips, a disapproving gaze if there ever was one.
